A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its result. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the correspondence. It stays within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems receive routine technical details when a page loads:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Lamb County Criminal History does not compile, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It explains how to reach the Lamb County Sheriff, the relevant court clerk, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Official access remains governed by the Texas Public Information Act and the criminal-history dissemination rules in Government Code Chapter 411. Visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a file about another person, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the embedded search tools. Their privacy terms govern data entered there, including retention and sharing. Review the provider's policy before submitting information because we do not control those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Lamb County offices, Texas agencies, courts, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once you leave, the destination's privacy policy controls the visit. Read those terms before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across sites and select ads. That processing occurs under their systems and policies.
